A trade show magician gives them one. The Digital Magician performs right on your stand with phones, iPads and screens, drawing a small crowd. And once there's a crowd, more people wander over to see what's going on.
Why a crowd draws a crowd
People are nosy. A stand with a few visitors laughing and leaning in gets attention that a pull-up banner never will. The magic does the stopping. Your team does the talking.
Tech magic suits exhibitions especially well. It looks at home next to screens and products, and it often involves a visitor's own phone, which is a lovely way to make someone feel part of it rather than just walking past.
It gives your stand team a breather as well. Spending a whole day in the aisle trying to catch people's eye is tiring. When the magic is doing the drawing in, your team can save their energy for the conversations that count.
Conversation starters, not a distraction
The worry with entertainment on a stand is that people watch, clap and wander off. That's why it's worth planning how each bit of magic hands over to your team. A short routine, a natural pause, and your people step in with a question while everyone's still smiling.
It can carry your message too. A logo, a product name or a key line could turn up somewhere it shouldn't. We'll talk through what's possible for your brand, and for something bigger see product launch magic.
Questions to talk through with us
Every stand and every show is different. These are the things worth discussing before you book:
- How big is the stand, and where could a small audience gather without blocking the aisle?
- Are there screens on the stand already that could be part of it?
- What would your team like to happen after each routine?
- Do you collect visitor details on the stand, and how could the magic fit around that?
- When is the hall busiest, and when do you most need people stopping?
- Does the organiser have rules about performers, sound or crowds in the aisles?
A word on leads
We won't promise you a number of leads. Nobody honestly can. What we can do is plan the magic around however you're already capturing details, whether that's a scanner, a tablet or a stack of business cards, so it helps your team rather than getting in their way. Have a think about what your team will say once the magic finishes. That bit matters more than people expect.
Practical bits
Close-up work needs very little space and no power. If you'd like screens involved, we'll talk to your stand builder or AV supplier. The Digital Magician is available for exhibitions across the UK, and we can talk about shows that run over several days. Pop your show details into the quote form and we'll check availability. For other kinds of business events, see corporate events.
